The Heart’s Quill

Custom poetry for the moments that matter most.

Where words fall short, a poem begins. Let me write what your heart can’t say.

A poem written for you, about you

The Heart’s Quill is the work of Bryce Esau, a Christian poet who writes custom poems for the occasions ordinary words cannot carry. A wedding. A funeral. A testimony. A thank-you forty years overdue. You bring the story and the feeling. Bryce gives it a shape you can read aloud, frame, and pass down.

Every poem is original, written by hand from your details, and yours to keep.

Why a custom poem?

A gift that outlasts the occasion

Flowers fade and cake is eaten by Sunday, but a poem is read again at the ten-year anniversary, folded into a Bible, read at a graveside, and found by a grandchild in a drawer. A custom poem holds the names, the details, and the faith of the people it was written for. It becomes part of the family story.

Bryce writes in traditional forms with rhyme and meter as well as free verse, so the poem fits the people it is for, not the other way around.

It's Beautifully Simple And Simply Beautiful

The pain of life is real indeed. Never measuring up, always in need. How can it be that life is so cruel? It's beautifully simple and simply beautiful.
